Document Accessibility: Making Everyday Files Useable
Learn how to make sure your message is received and understood by all.
Course Overview
Why Does it Matter?
Every day, people create digital documents (Word files, presentations, and PDFs) that are shared across classrooms, workplaces, and public websites. But without accessibility in mind, many of these files are difficult or impossible to use for people with disabilities. This course empowers you with the tools and knowledge to ensure your documents are readable, navigable, and inclusive for everyone, including people who use screen readers, have low vision, or experience cognitive disabilities. Accessible documents aren’t just a legal requirement, they’re a reflection of thoughtful, inclusive communication.
